Memorable MSU riots

Following the MSU Spartans’ loss to North Carolina in last week’s NCAA men’s basketball national championship game, there wasn’t much rioting back in East Lansing.  So I found a couple videos on YouTube of memorable MSU riots past.  The first one is from 2008, and the second from 2005.

Forbes picks Ann Arbor as best “college sports town”

Krazy Jim’s Blimpy Burger is an Ann Arbor institution, convenient to West Quad and South Quad. The segment on “Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives” gives a good overview.

Make mine a quad with bacon and provolone on an onion roll with ketchup, mayo, and hot peppers with a side of fried mushrooms.

University of Michigan’s building boom

The New York Times takes note of the University of Michigan’s building boom, among the largest in the country. Nineteen major buildings have been completed in the past two years or are currently under construction, at a total cost of about $2.5 billion.
